Chief Hon. Engnr. Chukwuemeka Woke was born on Sunday, August 11th,1968

at Isiodu, Emohua in Emohua local government of Rivers State.
He obtained B-TECH in Chemical/Petrochemical engineering in 1998
He has held corporate and political positions before he was elected chairman

Emohua local Government Area in April 2004 and April 2008 for the first and second tenures respectively.
Between 1987 and 1998, he was a staff of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)

and between 2000 – 2002, he was Snr. Special Assistant(special duties) to Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor L.G.A, R/S.
